Grocery shopping today and a blast from the past...
Pink "try-some."
When my daughter was little, she wasn't a big fan of milk. As a young mother, I wanted to make sure my she was getting enough calcium to have strong, healthy bones. For one glass of milk a day, I resorted to strawberry Nestle's Quik (her favorite color was pink). "Here, honey, try some, try some..." And shortly after the encouraging mom saying, "Try some, try some," she would ask for her "pink try-some."
