During the cold winter months, T could eat chili every. single.day.
Me, not so much, but whatever.
I do have a favorite chili recipe from a 1986 hardback, flip-through-the-pages cookbook, Simply Sensational, put out by the Auxiliary of the Dayton Children’s Medical Center.
Yesterday, for the 100th time since New Year’s Day, T asked me to make chili. It was time. I whipped up a big pot in the morning to give the flavors a chance to mingle and meld by dinner time. Chili is one of those foods that tastes better each day after it's made. T's going to be a happy camper for the next week.
