The universe works in mysterious ways.
One of today's NYT mini crossword clue is, "Toy named for a president" (9A). It brought a sigh and a smile. I thought of my big, hairy, goofy, lovable dog, Ted, who had epilepsy and went into a seizure sequence that would not stop. Nine months ago today we said good bye to Ted. I sure do miss him. I sure do miss our walks and finding coins on the streets. And today I found a quarter...a big coin for a big dog. Love you always, Teddy.
