Today is the day where the clocks "spring forward," taking away an hour from many sleep schedules.
Clocks springing forward is not the only indication that spring is coming. Daffodils, with their bright yellow petals, trumpet the beginning of spring. Like spring, daffodils symbolize new birth, new beginnings, hope, joy, and good luck.
The other day while on my way home from yoga, I took the back way and drove past the "Daffodil House." The blooms have started and soon the gently rolling landscape soon will become a sea of yellow, bringing sunshine to all who pass or stop to take in the golden magnificence.
It is an early spring. I try not to let set times for going to sleep and getting up rule my life, I am hoping without work to start at a given time that the time change will be less rattling.
