If any flower trumpets the first day of spring, it's the daffodil. This cheery bright yellow flower brings the promise of sunshine and warmer weather.
Today is also the vernal equinox - equal hours of daylight and darkness - leading to the longest daylight hours in three months.
Spring has been in the air and now it's here!
Today is also primary voting day. For the past week my phone has been blowing up with texts from various candidates to "Vote for me, vote for me." I respond to every text with STOP. And today it has.
