monday's mulling: 6 weeks

My little grandson is 6 weeks old today! I was in Chicago to help my daughter while her husband was out of town. We took some walks, cuddled a lot, and had early chats each morning.

So many people say that he is the spitting image of his dad. He has his dad's dark hair and dark eyes (my daughter is blonde with blue eyes) but I see a lot of my daughter in this little guy. He smiles when people talk to him, kicks his legs and moves his arms when he's excited, looks around more as his world is beginning to get bigger, and is getting strength in his neck. These are big developments for such a tiny person. 

One thing's for sure...Little people bring the biggest joys.
