PSITHURISM
Straight from the New York Times Mini-Crossword Puzzle.
It's an obsolete term but psithurism is the sound of wind in the trees and the rustling of leaves.
You can feel the wind while walking around the streets of Manhattan but all the city noises drown out the psithurism.
