A neighbor posted a sign in her yard for free forget-me-nots so on my stroll today, I took a couple grocery bags and filled them with these sweet flowers. I like forget-me-nots for many reason but the main one is that they're blue. You just don't see many blue flowers in nature. They're already in the ground and thanks to the last two days of constant rain, the dirt was easy to dig and I didn't have to do any extra watering.
The flowering trees have dropped most of their blooms and the sidewalks are covered with petals...Mother Nature is throwing her confetti around.
