What better way to start the day than with a sweet scoop of ice cream with your breakfast? When the sun rises over a frosty morning, having a scoop or two of ice cream for breakfast once a year is a bright spot in the middle of winter.

Something I have not done, icecream for breakfast. A dear college professor friend, read about the longshoreman's breakfast of raw oysters and beer, one conference in San Francisco she found a bar down on the Embarcadero that fulfilled her desire at 8 AM.
