Walking…what do you do when you walk? Is your focus exercise…getting in a certain distance in a certain amount of time? Is your walk for a purpose…maybe going to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription or some toothpaste? Is it to explore, to notice?
T and I took a walk in the Edgewater neighborhood of Cleveland. Edgewater lives up to its name; it’s known for its Lake Erie frontage and tree-lined streets. While strolling along the tree-lined streets, past some gorgeous houses, we stumbled upon the Stelzer Art Park. Dr. and Mrs. Stelzer are major art patrons, donors to the Cleveland Museum of Art, and have transformed part of their yard into a sculpture garden. We strolled along the paver path past various sculptures and flower beds. It felt like we stumbled upon a secret garden.
