It's that time of year when the beautiful clematis vines are taking over the neighborhood mailboxes. Most of them are the Happy Jack Purple variety. Last year, as I walked around the neighborhood, a lady was planting this clematis and she said, "I'm breaking the purple trend!" and now her Clematis Rosalie always gives me a smile for that splash of pink amongst all the purples.
A splash of color always brightens the day.
