Today is my daughter-in-law's birthday. Birthdays are special but this one is extra special: It is her first birthday as a mom.

It has been such a joy to watch her embrace motherhood. First time parenting is overwhelming, exhausting, and eye-opening (even in those moments of total tiredness) and she has handled it with her style (she always looks like a million dollars, even in her leggings and sweatshirts) and her gorgeous smile. Such a blessing and gift to our family.
