My mother-in-law made the best deviled eggs and without a recipe. A little bit of this, a pinch of that. No secret ingredients and try as I might, I cannot duplicate her deviled eggs.
Today's cooks are getting fancy with deviled and adding all sorts of goodies to the filling and embellishments on top of the egg. Give me plain...the good ole mayonnaise, a touch of mustard, salt and pepper mixed into the egg yolks.
