A Facebook memory.
This was the beginning of the pandemic, a couple weeks after Ohio's governor issued the "Stay at Home" order. At the beginning stages of SaH we could leave the house to go to the grocery store and to take walks around the neighborhood. Trash day was a reminder that some routines wouldn't change and normal would return...at some point. And we survived.
We survived, the experience will always be a part of us.

DeleteHow funny you should mention that time. I was just thinking about it this morning myself. I was wondering how I kept up the photo blog when time for picture taking was slashed.
ReplyDeleteI see those very same "think green" trucks below my window twice a week collecting the trash.
It was a time when we worked with what we had or could get. Those are the good ole Waste Management trucks!
DeleteIt was definitely a learning experience for our generation! Our parents and grandparents went through this type of thing during World War II with Typhoid, and earlier, Tuberculosis. Some good things came out of it, though, and for that I am grateful. Lovely photo.
